Volunteers truly are the key to the success of Diamond Hampers and we would be lost without them!

Becoming a volunteer with us can offer so many wonderful benefits.

We provide full training and funded courses to help develop your skill set and enhance your CV.

This will help you to gain the experience and tools when seeking and applying for paid employment. 

We support work experience placements for year 10 and above secondary school students and offer comprehensive support that includes full training and awareness training around the work we do across the community.

Each student will be mentored throughout and learn and develop skills that will prepare them for the working world.

We offer a variety of voluntary roles, including:

Volunteer driving –

  • Delivering emergency food hampers to vulnerable clients across the district.
  • Collecting surplus food from local supermarkets and businesses. 

Volunteer in store – 

  • Support with serving and assisting customers.
  • Sorting stock and donations.
  • Building emergency food hampers.

Volunteering at events – 

  • Support us with running and arranging our fundraising events.
  • Support us to set these up and attend to help ensure the smooth running of them.
