๐Ÿš€ Today’s the day! Let’s smash our target! ๐ŸŽฏโœจ
We are sooooo close to our target – only ยฃ200 off!!
If 58 people donated just ยฃ3.41 – we would hit our target!!
Even better – if ALL of our followers donated ยฃ3.41 that would raise ยฃ10k over night!!!
Come on guys!!!
โ˜• For the price of a coffee, you can make a HUGE difference for vulnerable people in need. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™Œ
Let’s come together and hit that target by midnight today! โฐ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Every little bit counts โ€“ are you with us? ๐Ÿ™โœจ
Letโ€™s do this! ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐ŸŽ‰
I have been waiting a while to post this!
Promised myself I wouldnโ€™t cry. But all Iโ€™ve done is cry with pure joy, overwhelming emotion and shock!
I have had some incredible awards, honours and commendations for the work I do but I think this is the peak of them all.
I have been made an MBE!!
The King has now publicly announced his honours list and in 2026 I will have the privilege of being presented my MBE.
I say it all the time, but I truly mean it. I donโ€™t do it for reward or anything in return. I do it to make a difference to peopleโ€™s lives.
I am just an ordinary person trying to make an extraordinary difference to both people and the planet.
I have never and will never let my own physical restrictions and battles prevent me for making a difference in this world.
I want to be the light at the end of a dark tunnel, the hand up people need and the support people need when they feel like they canโ€™t go on.
I am so utterly blessed to have the most incredible team behind me. A team that echoโ€™s my dreams and ambition, that follows my crazy ideas and most importantly supports me throughout.
My entire team are the most incredible people Iโ€™ve ever had the privilege of working alongside.
My family, my friends, my children and my incredible better half of me – Ewan. You are my everything and without your endless support, love and belief in me, I simply couldnโ€™t do it.
Ewan especially – you always believe in me, always hold me up, youre always so proud of me and I am so utterly blessed to have you in my life. I love you so much more than youโ€™ll ever realise.
This is all beyond what I could ever have dreamed!

Wow!!!
I attended a special meeting of the Huntingdon District Council, where I was given the valuable opportunity to raise a question concerning the resources and measures currently in place for CPR training and public awareness. This issue is deeply personal to me, as it follows the tragic loss of a dear friend of mine who passed away due to the absence of timely and effective CPR intervention.
His death highlighted the critical importance of widespread CPR knowledge and preparedness within the community.
During the meeting, I emphasised the urgent need for increased investment in CPR training programs and awareness campaigns, aiming to ensure that more residents are equipped with the skills to respond in emergencies and potentially save lives. This experience has reinforced my belief that proactive measures can make a significant difference in preventing such tragedies in the future.

I had the opportunity to ask a public question at Cambridgeshire County Council to highlight the urgent issue of rising living costs impacting vulnerable residents in Huntington and across the county. I expressed deep concern about families being forced to choose between heating and eating, especially with winter approaching and the holiday season near. I shared my personal efforts through Diamond Hampers, which provided over 4,500 meals in October alone and more than 500,000 meals over six years, demonstrating my commitment to supporting those in need. I asked the Council to outline the specific measures, support programs, and financial assistance available to help struggling residents and questioned why, despite these services, people continue to seek help daily from myself. My goal was to ensure that the Council is doing all it can to support those most affected by these challenging times, reflecting my dedication to their well-being.

We are so blessed to have had all this support, helping us to help people in the community!ย

We did it again!
I want to share with you all the impact we had again this Christmas 2025
Below is a video showcasing all of the work that goes into making Christmas work and the impact it has on so many people across the county.
Sadly, there is an unbelievable volume of people that would ordinarily be waking without a gift on Christmas morning – but through my organisation, we make sure that doesnโ€™t happen!
We provide gifts, Christmas dinner and food for the festive period to hundreds of people every year. This year was no different.
We supplied support to those living in poverty, children impacted by deprivation, vulnerable adults who are experiencing homelessness, substance misuse, domestic abuse, severe mental health issues or contact with the criminal justice system.
People without families around them, those impacted by loneliness and many more.
We are proud to be able to make a difference to so many people and it makes my heart swell with pride knowing we have changed what wouldโ€™ve been a bleak outcome for so many.
To my team,
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to you all.
I appreciate you so very much for the time, work and effort you put into Diamond Hampers all year long but particularly over the festive period.
Your kindness and generosity is measured by the sheer volume of people we help and the meals we provide.
Your selflessness truly knows no bounds.
Without you, we truly couldnโ€™t do the work we do that has proven to be so crucial to thousands across the county, through times of adversity.
With your support, team work and a lot of food – we provided this festive period:
– 13,440 meals through our festive food parcels
– 2,560 Gifts to children and their families
– 52.6 Tonnes of food saved
– ยฃ37,200 worth of food saved from rotting in landfill
– 145,482 meals saved from waste!
– 89,420kg of Co2 saved from our atmosphere!
This is just throughout the Christmas/December period!
Watch this space for our 2024 video and update!
Do watch our Christmas video below and feel free to share.
Thank you once more and a very Merry Christmas to you all๐ŸŽ„
Enjoy the video and a very Merry Christmas from me and my incredible team at Diamond Hampers CIC – Community Support Organisation

Allotment Update!

ย
We are making steady progress at our allotment! Can you spare any time in the week and can maybe offer some support to get our community garden flourishing!ย
This BRAND NEW project will enable residents on referral to grow their own food, promoting healthier eating habits and reducing food costs.
By growing their own produce, residents can improve their diets with fresh, organic vegetables and fruits, directly impacting public health.
The use of sustainable farming practices in these allotments can significantly reduce the carbon footprint associated with food production. This project encourages composting, water conservation, and the use of organic pest control, contributing to biodiversity and a healthier local ecosystem.
Together we can cultivate a healthier, more self-reliant, and environmentally conscious community.

December!

Just like many others, December was hugely successful in terms of the support we could offer and the people we managed to help.

We supplied 13,440 meals to people through our food hampers across the wider community.

We have rescued 52.6 tonnes of food waste, which has generated approximately 124,662 meals! This is through our redirected waste in our Pantry store!

We saved a whopping 89,420 (PPM) of Co2!

We prevented a whopping ยฃ42,080 worth of food from rotting in landfill!

We have helped 192 families improve their situations, by finding longer term solutions to shape brighter and more sustainable futures.

We continue to help eliminate the need for food aid and strive to live in a world where EVERYONE can afford to shop and live independently!
